Extend the life of your horse apparel!!!
Regular laundering and repairs as needed can extend the life of your expensive horse apparel. All items are washed in a non soap based, non irritatting cleanser that is formulated for horse apparel that will not remove waterproofing. Waterproofing does however, overtime and use needs to be redone, I can do that too.
Horses can also be very hard on their clothing! Tears, and other damage along with missing parts are common. I can repair tears, replace surcingles and other hardware and parts on most blankets. Most tears are repaired with a black or mathcing color ribbon. The fabric I usually use for larger outer shell repair patching on turnout blankets is a 500D waterproof fabric in black or gray, or a similar matching color if I have any in stock, and similar for stable blankets and sheets. Lining repairs are done in a soft nylon fabric, in either black or a similar matching color.
